Karl Rove and unidentified hot babe.

My Karl Rove Post

Typical Karl Rove Not Being Indicted Story (New York Times)

As everyone knows by now, Karl Rove's lawyer has announced that the Special Prosecutor has informed them that he does "not anticipate" that Rove will be indicted. Truthout's Jason Leopold stands by his story that Rove was secretly indicted. (Yeah, right.) Some are seeing wiggle room in the phrasing of the statement. Others are speculating that Rove may have made a deal and that Cheney may be the next target of the investigation. Me, I am through reading the tea leaves. Rove apparently has been sucessful in "walking back" incorrect statements he made to the FBI and the grand jury. In the process, it does appear to me, that he has admitted that he did leak Valerie Plame's identity, and I am disappointed that Fitzgerald did not charge him with that underlying offense. Fitzgerald has shown himself to be a man of integrity, however, (unlike, say, Karl Rove) and I accept that he is exercising his best professional judgement.

I frankly, never bought the hype. What a don't understand is how so many people had faith in Fitzgerald. Look at his history. Louis Freeh, Rudi, the 1st WTC bombing in 93, etc. I wish more of the super smart people who spent two years investigating this with a fine tooth comb, would've taken 40 minutes and watched the film "Who Killed John O'Neill". Then, maybe, all the talent wouldn't have been wasted and people would've pressured and doubted Fitz.

WHO KILLED JOHN O'NEILL?
